You Can Help Us
Help Others
The Crisis Center
of Anderson and Cherokee Counties receives funds from Federal
and State governing entities. These grants are often limited not
only in how long we receive the funding, but also, for what purposes
the funds can be used.
There are always situations that arise which fall outside of Grantors
specifications. For this reason, we depend greatly on individual
or private foundation donations. These resources, combined with
funds from our Thrift Shops, enable us to assist clients on a
more personal and
individual level. We, then, are prepared to handle needs such
as medicines/prescriptions, groceries and supplies, and incidentals
for shelter residents. There is much that is needed when someone
is forced to leave home with nothing.
WE NEED
YOUR MONEY:
Your
contribution can be in the form of a cash donation, stocks, bonds
and even leaving the Crisis Center money from your will, etc.
Also, you may donate items to our Thrift Shop: clothing, appliances,
furniture, toys, books, etc... We have even had automobiles donated
(some running, some not) that were a great support in our efforts.
If you have no further use for something, we can find a use for
it! ALL
DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE! We are a 501(c )3 organization.
WE NEED
YOUR TIME:
You
may also volunteer you time to assist us at the Crisis Center.
Whether it is doing office work, helping with our booth at an
area function, or becoming a trained group leader for a Crisis
Center program, your time is a great value to us. Not only do
we have you to assist in our effort, but some fund sources give
us financial resources based on volunteer support!
WE NEED
YOUR SERVICE:
You
may wish to facilitate parenting classes or co-facilitate support
groups, or assist with an event within the community. Your service
is always welcome.
Whatever you can do, whatever you have to give, can be put to
good use at the Crisis Center of Anderson and Cherokee Counties.
