The Crisis Center is headed by a Board of Directors, which consists of about 20 members. They are responsible for hiring the Executive Director. All other staff members, advcates, and volunteers are directed by the Executive Director and are all directly responsible to the Executive Director. The Crisis Center is not affiliated with ACCESS or HOPE (referrals only).

Meet our staff members:

Donald Hammock
Executive Director
Leading the organization since August of 2004, Donald is also Chaplain and Reserve Commander for the Jacksonville Police Department, and is a licensed minister. He acquired his Masters Degree in Business Administration from LeTourneau University. Please call or e-mail Donald for more information.

 

  Kiethen Davis
Community Educator
Kiethen has been with the Crisis Center since February of 2004, and has served as Community Educator since September of 2004. He also serves as the "computer tech stand-in". Please call or e-mail Kiethen for more information.

Kay Keller
Bookkeeper
Affiliated with CCACC since February of 2001. Bookkeeper and "mother" to staff. Owner of Trimble and Company, Bookkeeping and Income Tax Preparation Firm. Please call or e-mail Kay for more information.

 

  Laurie Cox
Case Manager / Legal Advocate
Laurie began her affiliation with the Crisis Center of Anderson and Cherokee Counties in September of 2004. She brings vast experience from working with other organizations similar to the CCACC. Please call or e-mail Laurie for more information.

Began with the Crisis Center in January of 2002 as a Community Educator. Has worked as Youth Programs Director for 18 years in churches in the Tyler and Houston area. Maggie Sotelo
Administrative Assistant

Has served as Jacksonville Office Systems Manager since June 2002. Gathers intake information on new clients, answers hotline calls and serves as bilingual translator. Please call or e-mail Maggie for more information.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Program Coordinator

Sherrie began as a Volunteer intern with the Crisis Center in January of 2003, and came on staff in August of that year. She is a graduate of Stephen F. Denise and Maggie have been very beneficial in reorganizing our Thrift Store and generating needed funds for the Crisis Center. Donations come from the community, as well as local businesses, churches, and civic organizations.
